What was the highlight of Muthu Raga Madeira Hotel
Very Good
Hotel was in a very good location, 20 minute walk into Funchal and also plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Breakfast had plenty of options. Room was simple but everything you needed. Overall facilities were very good, we didn't use the pool but looked nice. Staff helped with questions we had and helped us arrange a car hire when we there. Also we were upgraded to a Seaview when we arrived which was a nice touch

What was the highlight of Muthu Raga Madeira Hotel
Good place to stay in Funchal for couple of days.
Location was perfect. It's really easy to get to the place as it's very close to Estrada Monumental where you have the airport shuttle bus. Swimming pool is a big plus, escpecially after long hot day. Breakfasts were good.
I would not rate the hotel as 4 star. It's a bit outdated already and needs a serious refurbishment. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and during breakfast the terace was a bit messy, because of the pigeons targeting the leftovers.

Great location, helpful staff, and nice rooms.
The hotel overall was good for our budget, with the convenient location, close to the sea shore, bus stop and amazing cafes and restaurants, we were also given a sea view room, which was really beautiful. The room itself was good, with a comfy bed, and a spacious bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. The stay was overall pleasant.
The breakfast was included, but we didn't enjoy it much, apart from pastry and fruit; eggs, ham, cheese were not tasty and were the same day after day. The tap and the shower in the bathroom need serious renovation, and there was no place to dry our beach clothes or washed clothes, we were drying them on the chair on the balcony and of course one of our shirts flew away, because it was windy (it was never found). I believe some drying rack would have helped. And also more power sockets would be better.

Amazing view and bed!
The bed was amazing! The view was incredible and the pool was really nice. The breakfast was ok.
Old bathrooms and lack on cleanness. I found 2 bugs outside the door. In 5 nights they never changed the sheets.
